Impact Food Builds Pilot Facility in the Heart of San Francisco Ahead of Schedule

What a start of the year! In the short period of 4 months, Impact Food has completed its pilot production build out right in the heart of San Francisco.

Thanks to our Impact Team working tirelessly these past 4 months to finalize our commercial formulation and facility build out, we have scaled our bench scale 1 lb plant-based seafood to a current throughput of 300 lbs of finished commercial product per shift with visibility for rapid scale up in alignment with 2023 sales velocities.

Due to our newly scaled pilot production, we have accelerated our timeline to start our Q1 2023 market activation test of our first product, Impact Tuna, with our first restaurant partner ahead of schedule!
